PUBLISHED LIST OF LOCAL REGISTER OF MAYORS, VOTING AND VOTERS FOR ELECTION OF REPRESENTATIVES TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ITC

This was announced by Secretary of Decentralization of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Luis Alberto Matos Zuniga, who in his capacity as Chairman of the Election Committee reported that there are 38 polling places located in the same number of locations nationwide, and 1.832, provincial and district mayors participating in this election process, which has technical assistance from the National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE) and control of the National Jury of Elections (JNE).
also added that this election will be made in person, with a printed ballot at the national level, on April 1, from 9 am to 1:30 pm; for which, there is a total of 07 registered lists, 04, at the district level, and 03 lists, at the provincial level, each made up of 12 representatives and three alternates, which compete to be part of the Intergovernmental Coordination Council (ICC), an organization that aims to strengthen the decentralization process and monitor it through dialogue and coordination between different levels of government.
As recalled, the ICC shall be composed of the President of the Council of Ministers as President, the Ministers of State, Secretary of Decentralization, the President of the National Strategic Planning ( CEPLAN), the 25 regional presidents, the Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima, the mayor of the Municipality Provincial Callao, as well as 12 mayors and 12 provincial district mayors to be elected in this election.
